the story has gone downhill for me ever since season 2 (alicia recognized as princess and they all graduate) it losts its initial comedy and relatability as otome game. as expected the confession is funny tho and suit them but the execution fall short somewhere. this used to be my fav isekai villainess and i waited for the update everyday.
lol that i love you surprised me.
but if i am not wrong korean language sometimes ommit pronoun, so it's possible:
"I love (...) ...my lord" = "I love (it) ... my lord"
but even to korean listener it can get misinterpreted the same... but this is just my speculation

jerome is definitely out. Ivan is a good choice but at this point he doesn't have chance as male lead in theory.
If you have a duke and a commoner, most shoujo webtoon will choose the duke right but it's not just that.
Ivan could only win if (1) the duke was an ass (2) natasha really like Ivan to choose commoner over a duke. However the duke has a good personality and Ivan is just a sibling to Natasha.
The rational natasha won't dare to reject a duke by choosing a commoner or anyone of lower status really. At least not until she's sure the duke has given up on her OR if she knows the duke is not the sort of person who will harm her beloved (who knows). but then again Natasha isn't interested in romance anyway. So the only chance she will end up with anyone if there's someone else with a duke status who is different from other nobles who is persistent or patient enough to wait for her. unfortunately there's no one else but we get just one.
conclusion I think author make a rational reasoning of male lead among the candidates. It's nice that
this is original webtoon. so the story writing fit the art direction, the pace is good, and understandable.
it's not like webtoon from adapted novels are bad but they're usually badly adapted and doesn't fit webtoon frame etc
the reason why it feels easier to ship MC with male characters (yes that new one too) I just feel their dynamic wouldn't be too stupid and dull. MC with other girls are like "saving the damsel in distress" meanwhile with men, "there's something more about him" well exception is probably Flame, but Flame too going to be damsel in distress in front of MC soon (if not already i don't remember). and Flame also has this typical nosey female character trait, plus high imagination (it's funny tho)
i can't explain this but at the core this is only a reverse harem with uninteresting cast of characters. it definitely doesn't have confident to sell itself without the fanservice and pretty art. the dynamic between the female lead and the love interests are even dull. at this point i can only ship FL with her brother.
I was going to air my frustrations about how I wouldn't read the rest and would only jump to the ending when it came out but then I found spoiler
it's just bad, it ain't it
the art is great and the plot concept and world building are somewhat fresh at least but the plot and characters are just bad. it's trying to be a mystery which okay congrats it is very confusing but also frustrating and the mix with slice of life just down bad. and tbh the villain is predictable, the lie and the scheme feel too cheap/juvenile for a villain even if people fell for it. yeah. it's like what's the point of all that thing. the motivation is just too unbelievable petty and something only a villain in shoujo fantasy world will have.
okay, here now we have another damsel in distress, she was redeemed a bit because she did actively tried to make her situation better but the plot, the author just tripping her. the story was so gloriously frustrating it's like she was still being locked in that damn room with no way out. if i were her i would roll my eyes and kill my self again hoping my next reincarnation will ont happen after everyone who are after me died, yeah sayonara for good. it's always good to have the the will of life though, so i will respect that about MC.
and meanwhile the situation was dire she still had the time to run around the town and having a date with two men who obviously would never have a chance with her (the ML is obviously the third prince). it's usually not that bad but when the situation was that dire, how can i enjoy their date and the slice of life part of the story. it feel like a mesh of two things that doesn't mix well together. here another eye roll. why these shoujo/josei never can't make up their mind when it come to making story full of urgency. they didn't go all out and it's just ended up confusing to read the vibe you know.
next, even after the spoiler I still can't really forgive the third prince, or it's not him I cant forgive, it's the generic misunderstanding situation (he was another cold male lead that was actually only cold because he wanted to protect her yada yada, please this is so overdone and not attractive at all). the third prince in beach memory was so lovely tho.
and the villain was downright creepy. I would prefer a story where MC wasn't the center of the world, or at least don't make it only about romance.
maan i am yapping so much because i just feel sad with the lost potential. the art is good and i actually appreciate that the premises and the world building aren't bad. the thing about reincarnated lover is always a good potential it can be used in many different way, this one just wasn't it
it's interesting that many readers often assume that story with female MC will have romance, well can't blame them with the good art and sparkly vibe. the plot is really good and hilarious. i dont mind romance or no romance at this point. i love isekai fantasy game female lead making a party (harem) without being too mary sue.
let's see if this story has spoiler
the art is so good the male characters are handsome including mc (and he's not annoying, not a creep and not a love brain) so it pulls female readers like me unfortunately it is a harem story
i will just see whether the story and mc can salvage it
readers who make siscon gross when it was only for gag. it's not like imoucho a whole different genre
yuri liking his sister is like when little boy saying they want to marry their mom when they grow up only forget about it later, yuri just hasn't passed that mentality (for gag and stuff). it wasn't mean to be erotic. he can be worse like killing loid and kidnap yor for real but he didn't, he knows the boundary.
but whatever it's not author fault that someone can't enjoy the joke
i guess this story also suffer the same issue like amateur japanese webnovel. it used multiple POV and flashbacks in a way that slog down the overall pace. you will get into chapter 50 and realize most things happen in narrative and characters monologues their past and different characters narrate the same plot again and again.
i always find it a slog to read such story despite the amazing idea and plot. yeah the delivery and pace need to get used to but i have no patience sorry. they usually are better when adapted to manga because of the illustration but it will still slow you can see.
toma is in his way to destruction ngl, someone really need to stop him, and that fact really not the making of a male lead.
don't forget that female lead is from a knight family loyal to their country and she also has the same loyalty as shown so far.
I thought toma can be ML if the emperor was actually bad, or if he stopped his revenge and went another route to revive his country and became a good king. both scenarios actually too depressing for female lead (she had to betray/leave her country and family for real and the journey was too long).
in the novel, it's said he's a teenager... from mc's pov. he probably looks young (youger than mc)
it's hard to see it in the webtoon. too hot lol
but now i can accept this man as a hot-tempered teenager-like person (=・ω・=)
feels like one-man webtoon, and indie. the art are artsy but also has little quality control. the chapter are shorts but surprisingly consistent. the story was very much guilty pleasure for shizun lovers, and as one I can't complaints. also beggars cant choose. it's just sad that korean smut bl can eat well meanwhile me
It is really fun but the lack of focused plot sometimes make me bored.
