This wasn’t bad for a short read. I wouldn’t outright call it psychological or rather it’s not as good as other psychological stories, but it’s nice that toxicity is evident and isn’t romanticized (like a lot of BL).

The art is so pretty, I especially love how the author draws such good expressions through their eyes, but I say it isn’t that well-written pertaining to the spy/undercover agent aspect of the story. Yes, this mission is above his qualifications, but I think it’s basic to have a sense of caution and danger which I think Taekjoo lacks and is pretty important to his profession. He divulges information/observations too easily to strangers and trusts too much knowing all too well that his partner is a powerful, violent, crazy, and sadistic russian man. Other things I didn’t like was the straight sex cos I definitely did not come here for that and I’ve also been lightly spoiled by the comments so I’m not sure if I have the heart to continue and see what becomes of Taekjoo in the end.

Was really excited for another secret agent BL, but honestly this is not that well-written. MC is such a liability as a spy because he does not know how to act as someone who is undercover and is too suspicious when he blurts out observations that are supposed to be analyzed internally (e.g., when he got kidnapped, if you were a trained spy you probably would not expose yourself like that). Another issue is he trusts too easily; exhibit A: telling ML all his personal shit when he’s seen firsthand how that man is a powerful, crazy, sadistic, and shady man. I know the mission is above MC’s qualifications, but I feel like it is basic for an undercover agent to possess a sense of caution and danger.
Aside from that, be warned that there is straight sex in this. I don’t mind it when it’s 70% plot, 30% smut, but this kind of turned me off since we’re obviously not here for straight sex lol. I will still keep reading this since I’m still curious to see where the story goes and if I’m right about ML’s intentions. Will binge once it has a substantial amount of chapters.
Meh everything happening seems pretty shallow, not really my cup of tea; it’s also probably just a smut BL but it is just only less than 20 chapters, not sure where the story is heading but it definitely failed to hook me in (idk if the bad translation is also a factor to it tbh).
