For me it was because of the remorse, after reading this comment I spent the morning reading back to school and the side story. And seeing dude sobbing in the back seat of the car to kinda sad. I’m also a bit confused as to what went down between them, was he raped or was it just what we saw? As for Michael after seeing him encouraging the rape of the uke and then participating in it himself. The scars and beatings, well that’s just something else. I think the a key difference is one story was way more graphic then the other in regards to the abuse the ukes suffered.
