This relationship should have been purely platonic. I see them as father/son or a big brother protecting the younger one, which warms my heart. There was no need making him a second lead..in my opinion. Especially when he knew him since he was a child.

A Situation like this where they have to share a room/bed usually happens in Wattpad stories. Also getting kidnapped or sold to a boy band by a family member. It is actually quite funny to read such stories.
