I really like this but the way that the dialogue was handled after the antagonist showed up was so heavy-handed and unnatural that it kind of threw me out of the story a little.. luckily it was only like two separate scenes of strange info-dumpy stilted dialogue but it was so unexpected because I've read this author before and know they are usually much better at suble plot hint drops than that Σ( ￣□￣||)

It's great that Hazuki and Naoto work thru their feelings but i'm confused as to why when Naoto apologized he said "you've been more hurt in the past than me" like Naoto you literally got raped and were a single teen dad while Hazuki lived a cushy life as the alpha son of a hotel owner. Really struggling to recall anything that happened to Hazuki that would warrant Naoto saying he'd been "more hurt".
