I guessed that she was going to make bullet proof vests but really no matter how much of a fashion student you were there's no way you'd know how to make bullet proof vests and of what material. Not to mention they need to work well. You can experiment but it has to work fr because this is actual war and people could die if her bp vests weren't good enough.
