Okay I just finished reading this so I know we can all agree Jiang is the scum of the earth but can we talk about this doctor for a second??? Because god I really don't like him all that much either. I think his pushy personality is meant to be charming in a "I'm not giving up on you" way but it's his DOCTOR. Like when Zishu read the doctor's texts after he confessed to him they were so many and they felt so stalker-ish. Only like two of them were actually about him skipping his chemo and the rest were doctor crossing boundries. It felt like he cared more about his own feelings than Zishu's wellbeing.
And you know what, I'm grateful that he offers him some kind of support since Jiang clearly isn't giving him anything, but come on, Zishu is DYING and you know you're making him be stuck in a stupid love triangle. Give him a break and just be his friend. Just be there for him.
