I'm actually surprised that so many said the story is shit and all.
It took me a while to read the whole thing, but I don't think it's a shitty story. There are some things that are a little off or annoying, but all in all it's a decent story with lots of feelings on both sides. Uke might be a pushover, but he changes over time and can stand up for himself more and more.
And even Doc said he's only kind and sweet to Hyuk, he started changing in his all in all behavior in front of the people he knows.
So this is not a standard story without much character development and just forcing and manipulate the bottom for the tops benefits.
But still, this is how I feel about it. Everyone thinks different about the same thing, so it's absolutely ok. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

Yes I haven't even seen or read character growth emotionally from the Uke and was properly conveyed and explained by their thoughts to us readers, not even once, until this., We're just lucky this was a yaoi because a story like this could reach far without it being a yaoi at all.
