Both men think children can be pets... They are so messed up they need psychiatrists.
I get what you're saying continuing to call Ayrin or the young priest pets isn't a good example for them to set, yet the young priest is happy to think and call himself Ayrin's pet (self-proclaimed pet to his master). While Richard met Ayrin when she was in her reptilian form and she couldn't talk, they formed a special bond that he couldn't form with kids his own age or anyone other than the hero of the orphanage he stayed in. She was someone who cared for him unconditionally like a pet, when she turned into her human form she was still unafraid of him and someone special...but in I guess how they met is referenced by Wizard Collins in a way to further hurt Duke Etam.

I thought the MC was a little too flamboyant for my taste and it was slightly annoying, but after this latest chapter, I'm liking him more and he somehow seems like the sanest person compared to those crazy ass brothers.
RIGHTTT i usually dont like flamboyant characters because they make me embarrased but the MC is actually extremely sane
