This chapter just made me realise. Isn’t the ML a classic manipulator like I saw some spoilers in the comments that he later shows the mc his redroom and stuff. So basically he took the chance when the mc was cornered and pushed him even further again and then played the hot and cold game and now he is sure how the mc feels towards him and now he doing the pulling back game and will make the mc tip over the edge and he gonna have the mc in his palms. Spoiler fucking alert. The ML never manipulate MC and throughout the stories he gives him way out too many times. He pushes him to the door many times. But mc comes back (always) saying that he would endure it, and mc really thought he could handle it until it was too late. Knowing this ml let mc to set the tone of the bdsm play. Not only that, mc refused to say the safe words and ml has said multiple times that when they got into it, he will not stop. If he wants he need to use the safe words
I think you guys read too many red flags characters that you keep projecting red flags to characters that are barely red flags.
Ohhhh so this is in the future. I don’t like red flags but I stated what I thought is to come, but nvm that’s not what’s gonna happen. Personally the ml’s behaviour over the episodes so far is what gave me the ick. But bruh if the mc himself is gonna get stubborn like this we literally have no one to side with here
Because the story was done from pov of mc. MC is a very bad narrator since his views are a bit self destructing when it comes to ML. He struggles with being alone and abandoned for a long time (on top of being sexually assaulted in the past). When he received cares and love, he would hold on to it like it is his lifeline.
In a healthy story what we see as the couple forming is the people who can be a better version of themselves when they r together. Hate the trend of toxic shit going around now.
