That's not really what was announced. It was stated that the author would draw a side story about those two after season 1 ends. Just clarifying that Side Story & Season 2 are not the same thing.
if you want to leave the main characters behind and read about another couple, you could just go and read any other yaoi or omegaverse story.

Yeah. I remember when the news first came out and it was confirmed as a side story. I actually thought season 1 was ending soon after the author announced that, but it's still going on and it looks like it will be for a while. (I swear I'd go insane if it suddenly ended when we're in the middle of Taehan's Rut.) I asked about Season 2 confirmation, anything but their lips are sealed. lol!
