How the people who got transported back to the ancient time react. They were too calm, too accepting, too easy to adapt. The harmony and safety they got going on in the base is unrealistic as well. In such situation where there is no law or concrete authority, people would easily go banal.
Also the reason for the dispute between the MC and the best friend? The guy was supposed to be a genius, it never crossed his mind that maybe the adult knew about their little escape and would have prevent it - Hence why MC never showed up? Come on..
I like the drawing and the survival knowleadge input here but man the characters just do not have personality

I'm still just at the beginning of season 2 but I think I know who Faust is.
And all the suffering is like part of his trial? Its like you have to face suffer to truly test your kindness and goodness.
I think the violence is a bit melodramatic at times, but man I truly want him to just go dark, kill everyone and go to hell

Ok its not about whos more right and whos more wrong - now justice just belongs to the stronger one I suppose.
And I don't think any of the characters are purely evil or purely good anymore. Despite how "evil" our main guy seems to have become, I think hes still a fairly decent person (still have people he cares about, still wish to protect them, don't abuse his power for like a massacre and avoid hurting bystanders).
I just think hes a bit naive and stupid - the hostage situation with his mom and teacher wasnt an unpredictable move - They were clearly his weakness, he could have hidden them away for protection.
He still has that underdog and goodness vibe that making me root for him though.

If you enjoy the humour and the good writing of this series as much as I did, you should check out Girl that can see it by Pixiv as well ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/girl_that_can_see_it_pixiv/ )
The humour tone there is similar. They have good art and brilliant story line. Just a shame the series wasn't as popular as this one

I'm glad you liked the series. Some others with similar sense of humour to this for me are:
- Angel Densetsu - about a guy with the heart of angel but face of a devil. Quite an old concept that I have seen some series tried to pull but this one did it best, well a bit over the top dramatic at some points but still very hilarious. The art isn't necessarily the best but after a while it did got better ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/angel_densetsu/ )
- Helck - about a hero who wants to side with the Demon kings. It started off pretty light hearted but got a bit darker and more serious fast. It had some brilliantly hilarious moment, good storyline and most of all good character chemistry ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/helck/ )
He doesn't seem to have a personality.
Most of the situation he got himself into is because he let others forced him into it (joining school club, going to haunted places, etc.) then he got himself out mostly thanks to the ghost girl.
I wish he would show some personality already.
