I've decided every chapter past 70 doesn't count. I'm going to pretend as though the light god doesn't exist and that at the last minute, something went sideways and she got her blessed oblivion, while as the Duchess. It world also avoid creepy old man and 14 year old girl relationship creepiness.
I can't follow the thinking of actions of nearly anyone involved. I'm going to keep reading, but the further I got, the more I realized no one helps one another, and even less ask for help. She doesn't tell anyone ANYTHING and none of the issues would likely happen if she just explained to a single other character what she was doing or, and most importantly, why.
I think the author read an entirely different story than I did. He fricken RAPED YOU man! What do you mean love!?! I mean I'm glad we didn't land on that, but geez!! It should have just ended with the author dude getting with mc. He already turned down his bff. That whole thing is and was just cruel! Being with his bff at that point would have been incredibly cruel, and how he treated him was also very cruel. Wtf man!?!?!
Not that it matters as this ENTIRE manhwa makes not a taste of sense, let alone a whole entire lick!
