Over SEVENTY CHAPTERS of this, and at most, Meltier and Shane have implied, _at absolute most_ a hand full of times, that if there's a couple that comes out of this entire world of characters having even remotely albeit slight heightened feelings of fondness toward one another, it's these two, but blushing over having drawn pictures of the other, in the world of crush-land, is *weak* for having been drawn out so long. Shane had fricken slept ON him for god's sake!

(I'm usually so patient, but 74 chapters and they haven't fertilized their own feelings yet!?! I had been spoiled awhile babies with the fact that the story ended too abruptly (it was that person's personal opinion, so it's possible anyone reading this well disagrees, but I put a spoiler warning just in case... that and it IS a spoiler for anyone who hasn't read this yet.)
This is one of the stories I always go to immediately when I open my notifs. I have a list called "Unassuming Masterpieces" that I totally would have put this into, but it's not particularly unassuming with its score being over 9 lol.
It's so wholesome, especially for something that on the surface seems like it's an 18+ rated demon worshipping story about being taught by a hoot demon lord how to desire... lol. I love the duality and reversal of the concept of the beings of god versus demons.

My specific hypothesis is:
The friend whom gave Shane this "game" either was sent back to get him, after everything went down, and instead of killing him, Meltier found a way to send Shane and someone else from their world here, so ththat when shit started going down again, the friend could send Shane back, under the guise of it being a video game.
What do you guys think? (If you've read it tho, please don't just spoil it, this is just for hashing out theories.)
