Because the author used to draw shoujo (boy x girl), because that comic flopped af so the author started to draw shounen (boy x boy), which is Circle. After seeing that lots of people noticed her artwork, the author dropped Circle to go back to continue draw shoujo. But instead of her new artwork gets noticed by the people who loved Circle like the author thought, she got attacked :)
Really? I thought it had something to do with chinese restrictions. That something happened and she HAD to drop Circle cause she might get fined or something. It's been quite some time since I saw that post so I don't remember it clearly.
