it's 10% correct. He didn't do that to make Navier jealous. He take in Trashta cuz he thought empress was infertile. He certainly need a heir, so he need trashta to be pregnant with his child. But the illegitimate child cannot be a heir. So put a plan to temporarily dethrone empress Navier and give the throne to Trashta for one year so her child can be legal to be a heir. And then he will use the fact about trashta being a runaway slave to throw her back from position and remarry Empress Navier. but his planned crash cuz of his incompetent. He sent a letter to Empress navier about his actual plan with the hope empress navier will come back to him, but Empress Navier didn't reply the letter which is mean she won't go back to him. Cuz if that's what its mean she would be stepmother of the child she didn't want to accept and the child would totally thought she take away trashta's position. she didn't want that. okay that's it
