He’s not gonna talk to him ab his feelings tho. The reason he’s gonna talk to him is c bc he needs his “lucky charm”… he’s yet to work through his feelings or even understand what responsibilities he had for their break up. He’s yet to acknowledge that he still loves jj. And he’s yet to try to understand him. Just like what everyone else in this comment section is saying. The communication they need is not yet to be had. Bc they are both still trying to push away from one another instead of acknowledging each other. Talk about literacy skills elsewhere
Erm the reason he’s going to meet up with him is bc he wants his “lucky charm” but there is no indication that he’s worked through his emotions regarding JJ and same for JJ. They are still actively pushing away from each other bc they’re both to stubborn to have that important conversation. Talking to him, or trying to, about his luck is NOT trying to communicate ab the relationship, Leo has still not acknowledged his fault in the relationship ending or how hard JJ had it with him. He’s yet to even understand his own feelings regarding the matter bc he’s still angry. The talk they’re gonna have is gonna revolve around Leo and his work. He still can’t see anything beyond that and can’t acknowledge how he treated JJ badly. So yes they are still gonna need to communicate bc the big problem has yet to be acknowledged by either of them. And this convo is not gonna all of a sudden fix that when Leo still believes he did nothing wrong and JJ refuses to sit him down to tell him why they broke up.
Like I’m hardly the only one to be saying this shit so yall need to sit down and read what everyone else is saying and understand that the big problem, and why we are STILL saying they need to communicate, is because Leo does not understand himself yet, and JJ is a wall, he does not want to talk ab his feelings.
