I finished reading the novel twice. he's actually a decent human being— in fact a huge green flag especially to his son (He basically faced his trauma to save Pete). I really like the part where he told Pete that boys can wear dresses too when Pete was bullying their other son for being girly. All that rude personality he has now is because of his brother. He had emotions and his family didnt like it so they gave him trauma.
How many chapters does the novel have, if you don't mind me asking?
Yup, I really loved it when he saved Pete's teddy bear despite fearing that there's dogs inside that fence....
