Weird take but I actually love how all these "romantic" situations our MC goes through are not treated as blatant romance. Like when Yamadera "kisses" MC or Itachi just bites his neck. It doesn't feel queer baity to me it just feels more psychologically engaging since these intimate tropes are done by such twisted characters. Now whether you think that's good shipping material or not is up to you LEL
I know exactly what you mean. This story oozes sensuality and intimacy. The problem is that most ppl automatically equate those things to romance or sex, which is probably why some ppl are feeling disappointed or feeling like it’s queerbaiting.
I personally think that this story is refreshing, but to each their own.

Honestly, I just wish the author stopped resolving all the conflicts by wrapping up all the trashy elements in a pretty pink bow and just blazing through them 'cause it's the "power of love" Toxic stories can be interesting but this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth lol.
