It seemed to me the author got told the runtime is going to havled or somethin by their boss cus the story route flipped itself
Like think about it, at first seme was going for the protective & change for the better route, which normally in stories it takes a bit more work/chapters to establish it
But then all of a sudden he turned into a schemer, then coerced the uke into sex then made him agree to be in a relationship, which really only takes 1 or 2 chapters
Or
the author felt bored with what they got and decided to do a sharp turn in the story direction
The brothers look exactly the same that I have actually read to know if ML is doing dirty things to them both or just one of them
