Did maharo even love Asuma? All I can remember is Maharo realising he loves Asuma after he found out Ren was married. He pushed away Asuma when Asuma confessed, like if maharo really did fall in love with Asuma then he should atleast have been a lil hesitant before pushing Asuma away.
Okay deep down everyone knows that if Ren wouldn't have been married and accepted Maharo, then Maharo would've gone to Ren. If Ren would've said, "I love you" to maharo then maharo would've melted right away and ran to his fate.
Asuma was hella kind. He did all he could do for Maharo. Maharo just needed Asuma's love/kindness, I didn't even felt a hint of love from Maharo throughout the whole manga
