I read the ending and used google translate to understand it. (completed with 130 chapters)

Objective opinion: It seems like despite loving each other, they are truly bound to one another by co-dependency. they could not live without each other LITERALLY. Hwayoung has a trauma in doing BDSM play now but I think since BDSM has been a huge part in their relationship building, gyu-won will slowly reintroduce hwayoung to it. Gyu-won has been trained by Hwayoung to pain after all. Surprisingly because of the events prior the ending, I could see Hwayoung and Gyu-won as equals now in their relationship. I think Hwayoung was the captain of the ship before, doing whatever he wants, but now I see Gyu-won as his anchor, he gives Hwayoung stability and grounds him.

Subjective opinion: I'm satisified with the ending, I believe they will be together forever and ever. Hwayoung's brothers would not interfere with his life now. Hwayoung's friends would support them (they wouldn't dare, esp knowing only Hwayoung's leash is in Gyu-won's hands). Hwayoung lives for Gyu-won and Gyu-won lives for Hwayoung vice verse. I don't think third parties would survive because both of them would kill (LITERALLY) them. What's important is that they're healing themselves. I love them both so much from Day 1. and now I just hope for side stories

I'm still sticking to my opinion.

- Still a bad friend, not friend in my opinion more like a bad person. I agree to one comment saying that she did write infidelity novels and even imagining having a relationship with a married man. But during the time when Ji-ah needed her she wasn't there. I know author-nim would create a character development arc, but I still can't forgive what she had done.

- PD-nim: props that he self-reflected but as Ji-ah's manager, a parent figure to an artist, a person who should take priority under the artists's wing, who should have protected Ji-ah---- he's an utter failure. What he's doing right now is just bare minimum for Ji-ah. I'm isolating this case with him since his wife is a complete angel.

- Wife of PD-nim: I can't believe that the wife did so much better in helping Ji-ah find the light and also assisted her and became her lending ear to her insecurities. She was such a warm blanket that comforted Jiah and one of the factors that help Jiah restart Again. (Of course #1 supporter is mincheol)

Jiah, our overworked MC and Mincheol, our ever supportive ML, both of you deserve a vacation without chaos and drama. Please author nim give them a break.

Eijun deserves the world. I hate the fact that the author hates their own MC. I personally hate also the fact like how dare they trample a perfect example of a sunshine MC. It just hurts my feelings since i prefer this type of MCs- positive, vibrant and growing (Eijun is side by side of Hinata Shoyō, the Chibi rival of ryouma echizen, goro shigeo from Majors, Ashido from Ao Ashi, Tsukamoto from Days, Tsubasa from Captain Tsubasa, Onoda from Yowa Pedal, and many others).

I'm a baby fan of Daiya no Ace but I am no stranger from shounen manga since I was 4 yrs old and these types of MCs may be classic for some but they have the personalities you'd want to root for, to cheer on to!! As such, emulated by Sawamura Eijun. I really cried in frustration in the treatment of Eijun from the Anime and Manga. He deserves most of the flowers.

I give parallels with Eijun's treatment with Asta from black clover as well. I've been shouting my heart out and ranting since 2017 how if Asta excels on one thing Yuno would surpass in gazillions more.

Finally, its Ironic how ao3 authors (bless them), give more JUSTICE to eijun compared to the actual shounen-sports piece. It warms my broken heart that there are people who feel the same. My favorite tags would be time travel, and also the yips arc or like what if eijun leaves (reason: I want more chasing/regret arcs from the team). Personal ultra-favorite if Eijun loses trust to Miyuki and trusts other catchers more.

Apologies for the hefty and long rant but I'm really protective of Sunshine MCs esp those I aforemention, and Eijun is an addition to these precious ones.
