FATHERS WHO DON'T TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY ARE PIECES OF SHIT
OH MY GOD. I am rendered speechless. FINALLY, AOI IS AT THE STARTING LINE OF THE WORLD STAGE. I'M SO PROUD OF YOU MY BOY. ALSO the throwback and bow to the first lesson he got from fukuda made me goddamn emotional asf. Also, I adore aoi for not having any fancy schmancy words for his final kick for his win, rather he is just being him AOI ASHIDO.
Thank you, author-sensei for this piece of art. this is a sports manga at its purest, finest and masterclass quality.
I has been a long time since I have ate this good kind of green flag BL webtoon. THE FACT THAT THE MISUNDERSTANDING AND THE DIVORCE WAS TALKED ABOUT IN EARLY CHAPTERS MAKES ME HAPPY. That's already -50% in misunderstanding. I know for sure there's a probability that their future relationship would "cause" an issue in his career and there would also be future jealousy arcs. But that's fine

i have the epub copy of the book before so I think I remember. please correct me if im wrong. these are the changes i've noticed

actually webtoon cael is better because in the novel he was all about diana until he realized in the last 5-10 chapters wherein hess was the one all along. (he was confused about his lingering feelings with diana beforehand). he was so aloof and detached to hes even if he was starting to have feelings. in my opinion, compared to the webtoon cael, the novel cael is partially an asshole.
helios fell for hes in the novel (he was like "what if it was me instead?" or "what if I knew hestia first" - basically emotionally cheating to diana). he confessed around the final 5-10 chapters
there were no devil and angel chibi gods helping and hovering around hess in the novel
Diana is still an evil wench (no doubt on that)
