Finished the novel and all I gotta say is
If Xinlu won't get Yuri pregnant, I WILL.

I used to hate on this manwha in 2019? 2020? Maybe because I was mad that I couldn't understand English that well at that time or the twink bottom pissed me off so much.

But rereading again with better understanding of English makes this more enjoyable. The author display the Uke's emotion really well and the Seme is hot asf.

This is the first time that I'm more interested in the main couple than the second couple.

Such a waste of a great art style.

I don't even care about the rape stuff, but the balance just doesn't work—and by that, I mean the visual balance. If Taeui were prettier, I might've stuck around, but the characters have zero chemistry. Even the side couple (Xinlu and Yuri) outshines them with just 2 books, while these two need 3+ and other side couples to get any real development and make them look good. Their relationship isn't 50/50 at all—like I said, the balance is off.

The dynamic could be good, so why is it so boring? Oh, I know why! Taeui just isn't my type. I'd much prefer seeing Ilay with someone equally messed up in the head so their dynamic could be a true 50/50. But of course, Taeui is the "good guy" with a likable personality—which is so boring that the fucked-up top has to carry the entire plot. I don't hate him, but he's bland enough that the story only stays interesting because of Ilay.

Not just being an uglyass character is enough, his personality is shithole too. If you don't know who I'm talking about, the f*uker's name is Sanemi. Mf pissed me off since his first debut. Shipping him with Giyuu is an insult to my lovely princess Giyuu himself. Tbh he'd be better off dead, mf has an ugly crying face too. His backstory didn't even makes me cried a fuking tear.
How the fuck do people find him attractive? And even compare him to Gojo Satoru?? The fucking audacity. Don't even talk about character development cuz mf didn't get a single one or it just looks like that to me. Istg, Giyuu's first debut look better than this twig's. Enemies to lovers? Stop the delusions in your head, Not a bit of chemistry or chemical.

I understand if he has no manner since he grows up in that kind of environment but mf got humbled once and didn't fucking change but got fucking worse.

I just found an interesting theory on TikTok, "Giyuu wants to be friends with Sanemi cuz his scars remains him of Sabito." People on TikTok are getting ridiculous these day. Yeah, the scars on the face is similar but those two are completely different people, that's like saying Giyuu only wants to be friends with Sanemi cuz of Sabito and only Sabito, there's no place for Sanemi cuz Giyuu only saw Sabito in the twig. Don't misinterpreted this as like I am defending Sanemi, cuz I don't like him. I mean, those two did ended up being friends by the end of the story.
