Umm i think it's the ml himself who attacked the other because of his strong pheromones built up. He lost himself and attacked the others. When he calms down he can't remember anything. Also, he didn't kill his father, he only forced him to retire from his position as family head. There's this chapter in the novel where he visited his dad from the hospice while he was dying coz he was already sick due to illness/old age. He asked him why him? Why forced to position to ml? Why he never told him anything and keep him blind from everything? His dad nefer answers that til he died. I think ml just wants answer and apology for all the things he experience and all the things he lost while growing up and his dad never gave him that. His dad probably wanted to give him the satisfaction of closure. On my understanding, he probably mold ml to be a hateful guardian that everyone will fear and respect despite destroying his innocent son. Very complex.
