I can't remember anything that happened in the first season
Long story short. (Even if u don't need it)
Pink hair guy is the leader of the group and black hair guy is whom he looks up too. Black hair guy sees the pink hair guy from utube before he debutted and remembers how hard he worked and works.
Pink hair guy and black hair guy in the later future both teams compete and Black hair guy's group won which led to pink hair guy feeling bad for not being good enough. Black hair guy helps pink hair guy to stand out on the stage by acting close with him.(To give him the fame and attention he deserves for how hard he works)
The attention worked and pink hair guy now is getting the attention. Later on so and so happened (with the black hair guy always helping the pink guy out) and pink hair guy realized he likes black hair guy. But during such intervals pink hair guy is SA'ed (just uncomfortable touch) and continue and also hit by his teenage kidnapping case trauma but black hair guy didn't know and so he introduces his brother who is a psychiatrist to pink hair guy and later fjnds out about pink hair guy's trauma from his brother due to misunderstanding and unknowingly.
I really don't care for the side couple, I have to super scroll any time they pop up
idk i really liked their development :/ it gives a good contrast to how complicated the main couple is, the side couple is like a breath of fresh air where they don’t really have any actual issue but have been unknowingly pining for eachother for years, idk i thought it was rly sweet to watch them become friends in the background of the angsty main couple and then slowly process that they like each other romantically, they’re so shy and flustered abt it, it’s too sweet
It's just that:
1) They shouldn't have been developed before the main couple got together.
2) They're a dime a dozen.
They don't need to be complicated, but Jungwook (I think that was his name? Kang Jungwook) is the typical extroverted guy who everyone likes and who dated a couple of girls because he didn't know how to say no, who always thought that was what love was supposed to feel because he was supposed to like girls, until he fell in love with his cutest gay best friend, who discovered he was gay because of his first love.
It's fine if you like them though, but I read BL for more than a decade now and I find their story too generic.
but i don’t think they’re Meant to be non-generic like sure it’s pretty cliche but they got like 25% of the screentime the main couple got (probably less in terms of their own development) - the main couple carry the story enough and have an extremely decent amount of screentime. but if we’re talking about generic BL storylines, i’d argue that the main couple can also be seen in quite a few stories (tall x short, black hair x brown hair, perfect student president x troubled delinquent), i think the most non-generic part of this manhwa is probably the psychological aspect in the villain and he has nothing to do w the romance. like idk i don’t get why you’d search for an extremely unique bl couple in a side couple of a typical highschool romance of all things not to mention, nothing wrong at all with some cliches - loads of romances have them regardless of if they’re BL or not :-)

I'm sorry that was cringe. The pacing of the story is weird too
Damn last time I said suin like this I was opposed, glad there’s someone who thinks the same.
I wasn't expecting anyone to agree with me. I'm surprised
Cuz you know they like to tussle in the comments
I was just coming here to say that haha I’m glad I’m not the only one what is even going on
