honestly, I don't want them to be friends again. Soo Won, (even though he has made a few questionable choices, especially when he was first dealing with Xing) is a good king. He is skilled, strategic, and he cares about the country.
However, what he did is still unforgivable. He murdered Yona's father in cold blood. he planned to do it and looked both him and his daughter in the eye only hours before and smiled, knowing what he would do.
He tried to have Yona killed, and Hak too that first night. No matter how good a king he is, he has lost the right to have them as friends. Yona is currently doing what she does best. She sees someone in front of her who is in pain, someone who needs her, so she is helping. But look at her face. It is void of any emotion. If she were comforting a perfect stranger, there would be something there. a smile, or a tear, anything. but her eyes are dead when it comes to Him.
