It did start off strong in the beginning but it went downhill not quite worth the read (for me at least)

Yes - but it is quite different.
A lot of people don’t like the novel - I didn’t mind it but definitely love the webtoon much more

Some characters were added to the webtoon and personalities changed a bit - Perry for example is more bold in the novel. Theo is also a little bolder and more outgoing than his reserved personality in the webtoon. Whether their personalities will start to match the novel more as the webtoon progresses you never know.
Mainly there are different scenes and character introductions. For example, towards the beginning of the story where Perry and Theo first get married they are confronted by her ex in front of the manor gates and Selpius threatens him with a sword in the webtoon - in the novel he actually cuts himself and moves to use his blood on the ex before he is stopped.
Another example is the introduction of Adeus - in the webtoon Perry goes to meet him and is captured by her ex and forced to sign a temple contract. This doesn’t happens in the novel rather they meet when Adeus blocks her carriage by lying in the middle of the road and annoys Perry and Theo by trying to be her lover. There is a lot more interaction between Adeus and Perry in the novel vs the webtoon (so far).
