I didn't read any comments before reading so I assumed this was a standard "top to bottom" where once they bottom they never go back, so I was pleasantly surprised to realize it was actually a switch pairing.
I really wish there were more verse yaoi, but I suppose they couldn't make sex positions into personality traits if characters Switched it up
I feel like the ml(her second-husband-in-waiting) is just kinda tacked on, like he has no reason to like her enough to bank roll her divorce when they barely know each other.
But I do enjoy the well-deserved Siscon mockery; them all fawning over twintails like a bunch of degenerates, then panning over to the FL just radiating disgust is great every time.
Ooh I'm glad to see sangwoo's female friend again, we haven't seen her since they set her up as a romantic rival, but I always really liked her. She's really good at logic-ing sangwoo out of his current brain loop/ process his feelings.
And tbh if sangwoo had talked about his internalized homophobia with jaeyoung it definitely would have led to a fight- it's good he chose to talk it out with a friend instead.
idk I just like when a romance doesn't insist that 100% of a character's personal growth and emotional support is dependent on their love interest
I really liked the panel in ch 3 where the black comes bleeding out her eye- it just looked really cool.
And while the art style and the upgraded family plot is all Very shojo- all the violence is just a biiit more gruesome than the average shojo. Like, stylistically it's no horror manga, but usually heroines don't get their eyes gouged out... Executed for sure, but any blood is usually a vague black splotch rather than ever showing red.
Wow bold choice of the author to have a ml with absolutely Zero character growth.
I know It's a common trope to start with an absolute dumpster fire of a man and then redeem him, so like that's what I was expecting? But there was no tragic backstory, no resolved misunderstanding, no grovel... just the littlest bit of good behavior, but then oop no he still a violent asshole.
This guy ---on the LAST GD chapter threatens an innocent bystander, goes to PUNCH the mc, also it's not even clear whether he's cheating or just hanging out with these girls. Like they're just suddenly all smiles in the middle of a fight that was not at all resolved- and the BOOM The End.
Like the uke and his friend just kinda laugh it off --like they're just a bickering couple, rather than being literally abusive.
I will say, it was written well enough to be a compelling hate-read; it did make me read to the end and compose a short essay about how shit this relationship was rather than dropping it

Azam was suuuper hot; 5 stars for the smut.
I love when the bottom is DTF ( "yes, harder" > "noooo waaaiiit")
Did not like the sudden heel-turn into surprise choking/murder consideration, felt out of character and ruined the nice consensual vibes
Plot-wise both times they left each other felt stupid and badly rationalized. Just felt like poorly contrived drama
Also the child SA felt weirdly sexualized
