I know the father will reconcile with Alicia but they better not sideline the nanny and the teacher who have always been there for Alicia and who loved her through it all. I am still bummed we never got to see Alicia dance with her teacher in the ball...

Oh man... I got a little teary eyed because of how much Alicia just wanted to be loved but fate was so cruel to her. If her mother was alive, the wish would have been perfectly fulfilled but now.... *sigh*
Honestly I think I would have preferred the father realising in this moment just how much of a terrible mistake he made by abandoning her till and now after almost losing her, he realises and then then apologises to her and then they work through their relationship.
Him always loving her from afar but scared he will resent her is a bit weak and too safe play but ok in the end I suppose... still....
He better apologise and make it up to her.
