I know everyone is busy hating on Shintani. But just wanted to appreciate how complex most characters are and it has been intriguing reading about their past too. I don't wanna point at anyone (not even yakuza leader or saji). I mean everyone has been fucked over and they are utterly flawed. Whether its Shintani and Kikuchi or Shintani and Sodo.. their relationships began on very fucked up note and can never be justified as healthy in any fucking circumstances.
If they do officially become polyamorous I am honestly cool with that because I was sitting here anticipating some deaths. But yea after reading extra it wasn't very clear that Shintani is out and open about seeing Sodo so it felt like he is going behind Kikuchi. And I will, too, throw hands if that's how it continues.
