Does he like her personality? He repeatedly points out how unreasonable and annoying she is and is never really endeared by it so I don't really see him loving her the only time he really feels like he's in love with Himegasaki is when she decides she's not into him and is planning to leave the country at which point he confesses to her) she is so in love with him and he rarely if ever reciprocates her affection unless she whips out the "you're my boyfriend" card in which case he will oblige her requests reluctantly or say "what's that got to do with this?".
