But she just kinda let's it happen. She doesn't make it CLEAR that he has NO chance, you get me? This leads into it, since she doesn't make a clear "stop bothering me/f off sign/your making me uncomfortable sign" it makes her seem OK with him doing what he does, which in a way, leads him on, making him think he has a chance at her... and because of that, it makes it seem as if deep down, she's okay with that happening and is becoming unsure/insecure about her relationship, which may lead her into getting with that senpai dude...... but now that I'm rereading that line, I get where ur coming from too xD she says no so that's her decision.... (I'm on neutral ground)
