i really liked that part! tells a lot about joel's mindset when he kept thinking about just staying as friends- its like that for a lot of relationships but it often gets chalked down to being friendzoned... platonic relationships are so good!! (but whatever adam does next is what worries me)
True. I like this part too and well the guy had a point and when he asked this question, this only made the protagonist more realistic. I'm actually a little confuse why this story did not recieve a lot of attention haha
I really appreciate the fact that the author didn't demonize the "ex". They both shed some tears for their lost love, got closure,and moved on. And i didn't hate either of them for it
