It’s probably kinda obvious though. So I’m think the old man was Yu Lang in disguise and he lured Xue Yang to the red mansion. Removing the prayer beads would awaken Yu Lang’s true form, the snake demon. Based on the skeletons, those are all Xue Yang’s previous incarnations. Every century, he finds the original sword man’s reincarnation and lures it to the mansion, I’m assuming to get his revenge for the betrayal. Since time is frozen there, I’m guessing Yu Lang kills Xue Yang fairly quickly each time but that’s the part I’m uncertain about. Does he kill him quickly are does he allow him to live for a couple years before doing it? Will this Xue Yang be able to end the cycle and free them both?

Honestly, and please don’t take this the wrong way, it’s probably for the best that Wooju is gonna get into a little bit of an accident because it means he’ll finally go to the hospital. I get why maybe he wouldn’t go himself to get his memory issues looked at but it’s wild that all his other friends/parents have noticed it and haven’t at least encouraged him to get checked out. At least this way, he can finally see a doctor and hopefully undo the damage that’s been done.
