First, I enjoyed the side story so much more than the main story. I think it wouldâve made a great 20+ chapter stand alone story.
Second, I like to think that the aunt uncle and cousin in the side story + creatorâs note is the family from the main story in another life where they all actually loved each other.
So proud of GW for finally telling both of them off. It hurts my heart though that he feels like he was being cruel. Voicing your displeasure, your fears, your frustrations, itâs not a bad thing and I hate that heâs never been given the reassurance and space to do that before. I can only hope the Ido and Jin actually out in the effort to treat him better (and maybe even take themselves to therapy).
