Thought it was obvious but the mc is extremely lonely hence he does what does. He plays around. The moment that guy rejected him it felt humiliating to him. So to find comfort he kissed the ml thinking that he won’t get rejected this time. But the ml didn’t give in and gave him reassurance that he genuinely is in love w him which definitely never happened to the mc before. Mc is slowly being aware that he can be loved and he’s finding comfort in someone finally so of course he’s going to fall for that particular person. His inner monologue literally said “falling in love with someone can be simple”
yll he was actually experiencing emotional breakdown then suddenly he was caught off guard by Seme sincere feelings towards Him which is why he was FINALLY AWARE of his feelings. He is seeing Seme for who he is and not a 'toy' or for fun anymore
