Kinda tragic Tsukuyomi loves the wolf but the wolf undeniably loves the rabbit( with maybe a little manipulation from the rabbit-pheromones). Base on my own understanding, the rabbit merged with an abberant species (seeing as there is two entities existing within the rabbit and the need to eat alphas to survive). The time the abberant species was unable to eat anymore alphas(since the rabbit also fell for the wolf), it ceased to exist. So the body only has the rabbit, might be why it no longer craves alphas as much as in the past. The real victim in all of this is Tsukuyomi who only wants love and be loved by his fated person(which is the wolf, but the wolf didn't chose him in the end because he can't seem to betray their 'friendship'). Maybe somewhere in the future, his fate will eventually show up in the form of a reincarnated wolf. Since as far as the time goes for each species, Tsukuyomi won't die even after the wolf dies , the possibility of the second chance as reincarnation is quite huge. Just sad that Tsukuyomi will keep seeing his loved ones dying, specially his children, because of his long life span . Tsukuyomi's five years is already his beta children's whole life, not to mention even Alphas whole life is only a half of Tsukuyomi's life

Delusion to cope with trauma. Our poor MC the twin's are another type of coping mechanism too, out of neglect they have attachment issues seen with the dog. They attach themselves to anyone who shows them kindness and a little on the side of controlling since they were under controlled environment, it's how they show that they are comfortable around you since it's how they grew up. Now the problem with the 3 of them is how they cope, two have attachment issues and one is under delusion the the 'Sunbae' is still alive. The role of Doc is gonna be of big importance since he's the center of the attachment, the twin's are either gonna keep him forever or let him go for good. I smell angst miles away already
