Also, imo, the root of all the drama was the MC's mother..... she knew that his son is an omega and his (step)brother is an alpha... Does that not ring trouble???? She's delusional if she thinks nothing will happen ( she was also warned that Jaewoo knew that they are not blood related) .

It's weird tho, why , of all people did MC's mom choose Jaewoo to be his guardian... Yes , the Chairman will ignore anyone that comes under Jaewoo because they are estranged but Jaewoo is the center of all the drama in the family considering his connection to the chairman. It doesn't justify the mother bringing his only son to an estranged (step) brother whom his father has eyes on for years ..... Why not just send him abroad right after his father's death??? Since it was all planned to throw him away from the very start... Goodness , the mother probably thought she could mend their relationship (which is already unrealistic). THE MOTHER WAS THE DRAMA FROM THE VERY FUCKING START.

It was a fatal idea to read this right after waking up.... The author really did the research for depression, its benign and unseen symptoms and how it actually affects a person's life. It's very thorough and realistic even for a fictional work. And the MC is very very strong considering he didn't split( his personality– strong trauma usually splits a person's personality to escape as way of defense mechanism), I almost thought he would end with a split personality considering the gaps in his memories. It's fortunate that he was fighter and overcame his symptoms.
It's also nice that the author added the idea that depression is episodic (sometimes is all good, then suddenly a breakdown), which is why depression is not curable (only the symptoms can be lessened or prevented, not the disorder).

This a well written story for those who like to journey to what depression really is. The struggles the MC had to go through to understand himself , the situation and forgive everything....... Y'all....find a man who can understand you even when you dont understand yourself....

I lost count the amount of times I cried and wanted to take Jihyuk away from all of this and give him a tight hug.....
