All I can say is that our MC is getting his redemption arc, sadly it had to be influenced by such a heinous act. But at least he matches the ml freak is what I'm thankful for, and then being together might either influence growth within one another OR be the cause of their downfall. Idk, there could be some power dynamics out of whack once they find a way to leave confinement but, so far this is one of the best confinement phycological mangas where the main characters aren't insufferable. In the sense where we see both our protagonist are the victims of confinement in the story.

Honestly, I love it. Expected the worst from the premise but the characters are actually good and it seems like the ML didn’t even understand the concept of rape and kidnapping when he did what he did, which doesn’t excuse it of course but definitely makes him more forgivable than other trash MLs on this site. It’s not just the MC and ML that gets a redemption arc but this entire story just redeemed itself for me.
Usually I like these plots and got recommended it because of it but...
Even if they ain't blood relatives, it's still very hard to read knowing they have somewhat of a family dynamic . Is it just me? Am I the strange one???
