Rita is born with scars due to his family getting a disease. He started to become more comfortable with his scars after his childhood friend (forgot his name) complimented them and additionally taught him about plants. Rita starts to fall in love with the friend but friend got married. Heartbroken, he agreed to become Ignat's bride. While being with Ignat, he was desperate to turn into a dragon becoz he wanted a place to belong (?) and he was still in love with the friend. Ignat on the other hand, doesn't want Rita to turn into a dragon coz he'll most likely die, and also based on the latest chapter, is becoz he's fallen in love with Rita.
Please correct me if I'm wrong! This story is bit more harder for me to follow compared to Touch Your Night

it’s probably because of all the corporate talk and finance language that’s used by mc, and it turns some audiences away from this. but tbh their romance is really adorable and it’s lowkey slow burn. so it’s worth continuing if you want to see a puppy personality and attentive younger ml chasing the older, reserved mc

I feel like the story though very cute, it's hard to follow. The translators did great work, not attacking them or anything, but more to the writer's flow. It literally went from the bttm realising his feelings and the top assuming the position of sponsor, to suddenly them being in a relationship (?), without a proper declaration. It also feels very choppy DESPITE its length. Maybe I'm also not used to reading chinese mangas since a lot of the jokes or references just fly past me. This is clearly my fault, but it just added to my lack of interest in the story. (and also, why do the chapters keep repeating im getting pissed off here).
i honestly feel that a lot of chinese manhuas progress like this in my opinion, not all of them for sure there’s some amazing ones out there. but i think the nature of the pacing tends to be choppy with shonen ai coming from china
It's bc of the censorship that makes it feel choppy. If you read danmeis, they're more complete and well-written. Before bl manhuas get released, they undergo very rigorous censorship bc china's homophobic as fck that's why the manhuas feel incomplete. That's why it's better to just read the novels sometimes instead. Though, it'll probably get harder in the future too considering that they're literally arresting bl novel writers.
