That literally was rape and so unnecessary, it wasn’t “rape” it was rape period. Geonwoo was completely unconsenting and the fact that it was his partner after all changes nothing. You can still be sexually assaulted by a partner, consent is the inly thing that matters in that regard. If this is their third life fine but why was Iheon such a dick when they met again for the first time in their third life???? I get it’s a red herring so the readers believe what Huimin believes but Iheon’s behavior is pissing me off
I have been reading with the updates and I agree with what u said, for inheon he only has memory of his first life where everything turned badly, so my only possible explanation is he don't know how to go about it.
Because for him huimin did have him beat up (which isn't true) and he did believed huimin hated him not knowing the trauma he had.
So maybe the only thing he had in mind was not letting huimin die again or be broken bcoz of loss of their child. Since inheon past makes him broken too and he doesn't know how to treat someone he loves
Hey! I've read the novel, and the reason why he was such a dick was because he had no memory of their previous life nor the second at that point. He remembered during huimin's first heat cycle, which is why there was such a drastic change in attitude
