Also he is literally the only character with tan skin.It could be pure coincidence or not from the author.
Tehir's name matches with the role he was assigned,"the noblest one". His name itself doesn't have a meaning but "Tahir" from arabic origin means "pure" or "virtuous". Same goes for Garon,it literally mean "defender" and scanner would practically go bankrupt without him.
