Seems like doc’s red headed partner is into threesomes, so maybe that’s where they know each other from. The other option is that Doc is the tutor that they were reminiscing about, but his style changed enough between then and now that they don’t recognize him. I thought it was kind of weird that the Doc reacted to the childhood photo but it kind of cut to when the MC came back into the room.
