This is soooo underrated! ML really loves and cares for MC so much!
For those confused on the sequence of the story, the proper sequence so far:
Ch9 to ch24 (flashback of their first meeting then relationship) Ch1 to ch8 ch25 to ch27 (present timeline)
*Ch25 is when Uke explain to readers via 3rd person narration how he tried to cope with his reality by creating a Defense mechanism (fantasy)
*Ch26 was a slight flashback of Uke's helplessness (inside the car was the mini flashback)
*I think uke is slowly trying to get back his memories of the reality...
Some points in this manhwa that I am loving so far:
1. MC and ML lead are NOT blood related so no incest here. Uke's mother is the daughter of Seme's father's ex-wife from the ex-wife previous marriage before getting married with seme's father. (Ch.15)
2. Uke's psychological issues are not innate but acquired due to the difficult circumstances he went through (child abandonment and dependency). Uke's description of his emotions yet being unable to speak up for fear of consequences was so heartbreaking (ex. The time when he was finally honest, his father hanged himself)
3. Humans are not mind readers. Seme was not honest with his feelings towards Uke BUT his actions spoke louder than words and shows that he truly cares for Uke (even better than Uke's biological mother!).
4. Uke's mother is the epitome of a toxic parent!!! She uses Uke's unstable psychological state to gain leverage over Seme. She locked up Uke under the pretense of protecting Uke when in fact she just abandoned him in the mental facility with blatant disregard of Uke's needs and then she appears in front of Uke triggering him again and again!!
5. This manhwa portrays the difficulty of living with someone with an unstable psychological state (Seme constantly feels anxious about uke. He cannot help but monitor and be controlling of Uke so that He doesn't lose Uke to depression).
6. Seme being all macho and tsundere and not being honest with his feelings worsened Uke's state as honesty and proper 2 way communication is what Uke needs!
7. Aaaarrgh! The Nanny is using the baby as an excuse to get close to Seme but Seme is not having it!!
8. I think the "Discrimination and Stereotypes within the Omegaverse Hierarchy" is the Macguffin of this entire story- how uke being an omega is being discriminated against by society except for seme (seme actually encourages uke to speak his mind and do whatever he wants) and how Seme as an alpha intimidates others through fear when in fact he is completely under the spell of his Omega (ch27 when Seme tried to cater to Uke's preferences when he carried Uke)
9. I am so curious and excited as to how author-nim will deal with these serious issues without that simple shrug
This manhwa should be tagged as psychological (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Awaiting for honest mature loves from our ML and MC + happy family with their baby!!!
I can't wait for the cute mini version of Euridian (who was supposed the og villain lol)!!! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I think it would be funny if because she changed the original plot, their first child looks like his dad but sprouts pink hair like his mom just to point out the boy isn't going to have a heel turn back to the original plot line.
Or having a girl who looks like dad would be a good twist too; I simply like the pink hair more.
