As someone who reads a lot of yaoi(even though I won’t classify this as one) this book is actually outstanding. When someone made a video on TikTok on how they won’t give this a reread I thought was it that bad(?) so I decided to read it and I would say that this just shows what a toll mental health problems can do to someone and I’m glad that it was highlighted. A 10/10 for me

I can’t understand why people can’t just show any other emotion apart from anger. I mean seriously it’s so fucking childish. You go out of your way to seem all tough but you’re not even all that. I hope he changes for the better and just be nice for one in his life
(P.S: Dan baby it’s a trap that mf can’t be drunk on a glass of soju)

To be fair we have no knowledge about Jaekyung’s past. His parents or any family for that matter have NEVER been mentioned in this story, which is super weird because we all know in Korea parents take a lot of pride in their children’s achievements. This makes me believe he either has a strained relationship of some sort with them or he could also be an orphan(?)
Regardless. Mingwa is really good at keeping our focus on Dan AND Jaekyung without revealing much about him. Which definitely makes me think there’s something deeper going on with Jaekyung and it could explain why he is the way he is.
Overall, I’m excited to see more about Jaekyung because truthfully we haven’t gotten to see much of anything.
THE MAN IS DEFINITELY THE DEFINITION OF ZERO MORALES, NO AMOUNT OF TERRIBLE CHILDHOOD TRAUMA CAN MAKE ME PITY HIM
I HOPE THEY DON’T KIDNAP DAN JUST CAUSE THEY THINK HE’S CLOSE TO HIM TOO, MY BABY JUST GOT THE REALITY CHECK HE NEEDED
