Alpha didn't want but the mc omega told him to act like that girl boyfriend so she won't get in trouble with the mother of the alpha. The alpha obviously didn't believe her thatthe mc omega hurt her but he had to keep acting so his efforts wouldn't be for nothing.
So I think Mc is at fault here for trying to be good to a girl who only did bad things to him and then not believing in his alpha.
