Did anyone else notice something off about that battle with the Wolf Lord?
Like it had him, it could have killed him and then that weird light happened and so it let him go. Then later on it appeared as like a delayed attacked that took out the wolf lord.
Is this because of a level up of the magic or is this something unique?
We'll just have to find out, I guess. I was actually wondering about that, myself.

lol although defeating the wolf (which is lvl 12) would be a very good lvl up and experience for him, at least now he is understanding how quick he has to be to chant a spell.
So I've seen the raws and read the summaries/translations and I have a theory.
What if Kagami is so turned off by Angelo that it's affected his scent and he doesn't know?
The first night he was out with Angelo Shingo could still smell Kagami's scent although it was decreased. However, since then he's been in near constant contact with Angelo and then shortly after goes home to Shingo. What if that is why the scent is gone? Because he hasn't had enough time away from Angelo to get his scent back?
I'm not sure Angelo is a cat so he can't tell. Kagami hasn't been in contact with other cats he knows or his brother. So the only one who has been near him lately that can smell him is Shingo.
Which is why Shingo thinks it has to do with Kagami not wanting him and then Kagami telling him that it actually has to do with the one who is smelling it so now Shingo and Kagami thinks it all has to do with Shingo not really wanting Kagami anymore.
When in reality it's because Angelo repulses Kagami to such a point he unconsciously hides his scent as deeply as he can to make it clear he's not interested and then its still locked down and hidden when he gets home to Shingo.
So it's all a misunderstanding.

What I don't like is the uke blowing things off because they are just guys and girls are what matter. He's been confessed to numerous times by his friends and yet he only wants girls.
If he was straight. Fine I could accept that. But he has no real issues with the smexy stuff except that's wrong because he's doing it with guys. He just seems to want to date girls because he's a guy and it's expected of him. It's the typical closeted gay straight guy in yaoi manga trope.
Not to mention the love triangle trope. Just live with a poly relationship. Sure Haruki and Izumi probably won't really do anything with each other so it will be a like a 'sister wives' situation in which Eiji has two male lovers. But what's wrong with that?
Another thing, if the guys have been serious all these years why the hell didn't they just tell the girls they are gay and not interested? Except it seems Haruki does sleep with the girls? So are the guys bisexual but only love Eiji? Then they should also make that clear.
Overall, I like it...but I don't love it.

I bet he could memorize the spells. He seems the bookish type who learned via memorization and repetition.
The problem isn't that he will be able to remember the spells, it's the fact that he has to say them during battle and he has a difficult time with doing things under pressure. （￣へ￣）

I wonder if he was eyeing Makino up because he might be a spy. Or if he discovered Makino was a spy because he was eyeing him up and interested in him in 'that' way. Because he was HIGHLY interested in Makino and flirting with him from the get go.
