Girl.. the only thing bothering me is that she trusted that shitty husband of her this whole time. I mean, she finally found out but she was thinking good of him this whole time. Like, if the husband cheated on her and tried to poison her in modern times, then there's a good chance he did the same thing in this era too. I really don't want to drop this story because I'm a cat lover and i love that this story is so 'cat-centric'. BUT. I just feel like there's so many plot holes

Why is this not the original story and only a back story? This is more interesting. I like her real face and i like her real personality. She had to pretend to be meek and sweet to win the emperor's favor, meaning she wasn't even being herself with him.
But right now, she is very cool, fierce and strong and these men like her for who she is
