I like the story but the thing is hate about it is how stupid that goddess is. She's supposed to the all-knowing goddess. Why is she so stupid? She fell in love with the wrong guy even though she knew he was a piece of shit who didn't even like her? And then she gives up ALL her power even though she knew Philip was a piece of shit. And then she acted like she learned her lesson, but then put the curse-like marks on philip's innocent children. Why not put the marks on the one who wronged her? Philip being the arrogant narcissist that he is, wouldn't kill himself anyways. He would probably shut himself somewhere while trying to find cure for himself and probably die while suffering. This would help liontel save that goddess too, since Philip wouldn't be alive to stop Liontel.
And also because of that goddess's stupidity, countless people lost their lives, including liontel who suffered greatly until the end of her life. And even after anthea saved that goddess, not caring for her own well-being, that goddess is now taking her place and making her sick and 'ugly' looking? And she literally brought Richard, who was philip in his previous life, back to the palace.
Since she's the all-knowing goddess, she knows it's Philip so why not take revenge on Richard? She is literally targeting the innocent people of the empire, anthea and the crown prince for no reason.
The real villain in this story isn't even Philip or Richard. Its that dumb fucking goddesss. Because Philip would have never been able to do so much damage to everyone, including that dumb fucking goddess herself, if it weren't for her own stupidity.
I literally have more empathy for richard than that bitch because Richard is shown to want to be the emperor because he wants revenge for his mother's death and for the abuse he went through
